A Business Update

Its been a long time that I’ve had my pink logo and I think its time for a change…time to say bye bye and hello to the new.

I’ve changed as well my photography has too. I’m so excited to bring on 2012. There will be changes that I’m a little unsure about but I’m saying bring it on.

My hiatus is over February 1st. I have a studio now and will be taking studio apt…FUN ONES.

I will get the details soon. I can’t wait to show you all.

I need to add a photo to a post so I found this silly shot…fun.

I haven’t been able to sleep lately. I have been sitting at this computer for days now trying to update the business end of my business…….its daunting but it will be worth it to be organized.

I have updated my blog and it was a mess…its getting better to navigate but still not to where I have envisioned it in my brain.

Since it is different I will need to learn how to post different as well. So, I am trying it out tonight.

Check it. That’s my LARGE family. Pretty cool huh?!

*****Sorry you can’t click on it to see it larger…ugh! Oh, well.

Bree - So exciting! I love making fun changes. So far, the blog’s looking amazing!

Some time for me.

I am ready to take a hiatus. I need some me time. As you all know I have been up and down with my business this year. To be honest I wanted to be done doing sessions this fall. I didn’t think that I could make it happen in getting the 2 older kids off to their soccer practices 3 times a week along with 1-2 games all the while the the other 2 kids had 1 practice and 1 game and then there’s Beckam who needs to be watched every waking moment. But as you can see it all worked out…it always does.
I will be gone for a few months. You can still contact me about scheduling sessions in the spring (April 2012) and if you have any questions.

I have a lot to think about. There are times that I want this big cool studio and something like this you’ll have to scroll down a bit to get their new digs.
This is one lady I followed when I first started my journey in photography….years ago. Click here. And don’t you love the look? More here & here & another. There are many times I dream of this but…I really don’t think it works for me to do it all the way yet. I love my smallness, I actually enjoy it.

I’ve also been thinking about my shooting style. I really LOVE the free spirit, the laughter, kids playing games & parents getting envolved with the kids…I may be asking for some vounteers to give it a try.

I love you all and Thank You for you business.

Kellie - My family would love to volunteer! I love freestyle and you are so good at what you do, but I totally understand the whole time thing! My life is my kids school and soccer. You rock Jess

Lauriann Wakefield - Good luck with your me time. I think it’s well deserved, and I can’t wait to see how your style evolves.
And I have to say I have similar dreams and similar struggles. :) My kids are just pre school age. So you’re saying it doesn’t slow down? lol

Jwan Smith - You go girl. Take your break. And make it a long one. Your priorities are right where they should be. And, we all know you will come back rejuvenated, balanced, and ready to photograph again all in your own time :) Merry Christmas!!!!
