I like this series…the kiss.

saying something to make them laugh. I can’t help it. I love the romantic shots but I ruin it by making fun of it a little. But HEY, I like both shots here.

I am excited to post this session. I have been in a weird place with editing (photog’s you will understand) I took a step back in my processing because I felt that I was over doing it. Well I have decided to bring back some of my color.
This session was perfect. I walked into Sid’s store Our Little Store and JaSha’s Sid’s other half said “Jess Sid has a question for you” and then it was down hill from there for Sid was committed to some family photos. I know you think you don’t photograph well but come on look at this beautiful family. This conversation happened Wednesday and Saturday it was complete in 45 minutes and a little snow. We did’t care what weather was in the forecast. It was going to happen.

And another little plug I have to say and Sid you may not know this but you are one of the greatest examples out there for me. I love how excepting you are of everyone and you have the best outlook in life. I wish I could be more like you…mushy huh…but true.

Well this is Mel with Melody White Studios she is a photographer from Cali and while on her vaca here we did a family session. So FUN…right! Really it was fun and the best part was meeting you and your family.

Conan this is awesome that you wanted this pose. I think it turned out great and I love how graceful you were at picking her up it’s like she weighed nothing.

And while we were doing the Mom and Dad shots the girls had to be in them too but then when it was time for the family shot they didn’t want to be there…go figure!

This was the 2nd photograph I took with this pose and I think the only one with both girls looking at me.

I love that more and more MOMS are asking for there individual shots…for face book but it’s still something good to have in the history books…or the WOW i looked good back then days.

The sessions were perfect…from the weather to the clients it was smooth sailing…except for the $50 parking ticket I got for parking in the wrong stall for 5 minutes.

So, I’ve been asked to do more and I may if I get a good response…it would need to happen fast so that the weather is decent. I’m thinking like next week Thursday or Friday starting at 2:00 because it gets dark at 5:00 The price $250 30 minute session 15 images on CD and a set of 25 Christmas Cards. I have had so many fun sessions lately. I know that family photos are VERY stressful, I know I tried to get out of mine many times but my friend Angie wouldn’t let me, I hope that when I am photographing you that I take some of that stress off and you enjoy yourself…that is my goal for every session.

I love shots like this but I also make fun of them. I am so not a PDA girl but I am also drawn to shots like this and when I can get my clients to pull it off I love it and then I say something and below I get this shot too.

I’m sure you’ve been looking…sorry it took me so long. So, there is a family one but I didn’t get to those yet.

I think it’s been almost 11 years but as for Corey it goes even further…good ol’ high school days.

I always stress when photographers hire me. So  Keri called and said she was coming to visit, can we do a family session…and I said of course. Plus, we gotta hang out. Well I was having a BAD day I was feeling bad for myself and didn’t really know what to do…so of course I chose to be mad. I mean don’t you ever just want to be mad. *Oh, and I have to say why is it when we are mad or frustrated that we are the meanest to those that are the closest to us…and then you feel really bad later for doing it.*
The start of the session is I told Corey that I am a very mean person today and it may not be fun to hang out…but I knew that once I was doing something I love I would get out of my rut…and I did.
Session is over and we head over to my house to hangout…Greg is gone…car broke down…that just topped off a special day for him too so we were both having a not so good day. Hey, anyone wanna hang out with us we are a load of fun around here. But I do have to say I’m thankful for bad days it makes me accomplish so much the next few days or even weeks. It’s just too bad that the bad day was when our friends were in town.

This one makes me laugh because the wheel barrow had a flat tire and Corey was pushing it up a slight hill and to say the least he did have a tough time pushing it.

Elise and Tom
I just wanted to share with you some of my favorites from the session. I had a fun time trying out some new spots thanks for being up for it…and Tom you take a great photo for not having any done professionally job well done to the both of you. Oh, and Tom love your English accent if you guys want me to come to England to get some shots there I would do it in a heart beat. Ya know that gives me an idea since my hubby is no longer employed we should just move there and start a new life with the fam.

Okay, so there are a few sun flare but I like them.
