Urban Goodness

Oh…it feels like it has been such a long time since I have done some Urban shots…it’s great to be back. This is the beautiful, fun, friendly Sydney all the way from St. George. When we set up the appointment she asked what to bring and generally I will tell her the closet and what are your interests…she is on the student body and loves to text. While I was editing I was noticing that you look like my best friend from High School if I had a digital photo of her I would put it up but I’m too lazy to get out the scrapbook and scan it.

The BESTS of Christmas

I have to say this season is my absolute favorite and I wanted to share with you some of my BESTS of the season.

B- Bing Crosby in White Christmas. All time favorite Christmas movie. Do you have any favorites?

E- Everyone giving!

S- Spectacular light shows like this one Click here This show was in neighborhood next to me last year and the lights from the cars waiting in line on Christmas Eve was crazy. I think it was backed up my whole block about a half a mile each way. I should have gotten some pictures.

T- The scent of Cinnamon. I could have the smell in my house every day of the year.

S- Snow for Christmas ONLY! Then it should be spring.

I can’t leave without posting a picture.

Santa came to school today…and I’m not sure if Isaac trusts this guy.

20ft Christmas Tree

What it takes to get a tree of this nature.

  1. Get up at 6:00 a.m.
  2. Stand in permit line…couple of hours
  3. Drive about an hour (I think) to go find the tree
  4. Find one cut it down and haul it out to the trailer along with 3 other trees.
  5. Bring it home and set it up. (Steps 4 and 5 took about 7 hours…and I have to say these steps are hard for my husband because time in money so, at this point he loves me a lot)
  6. String the thousands of lights on the tree but finding a creative way to get up that high because we don’t have a ladder this tall.
  7. Get the lame tree stand I bought to hold the flippin’ thing…and this is where Greg’s handy work come in.
  8. Now it can stand on its own so move it towards the window and VOILA we have a tree.

So was it worth? I think so. I absolutely love it!

Someone in our family gave us the idea of putting the ladder onto 4 stools to decorate the tree but Greg came up with using the loft…I have to say that’s a lot safer (Scott).

Isaac has to be like Dad

I didn’t know it but today was Christmas

We were in the kitchen trying to find whatever we can get to fill our empty stomach’s when I hear this ripping in the living room. I thought he got his hands on the wrapping paper but no it was his present. Luckily the present I wrapped was in a box that he would have know idea what it was but the whole time he was ripping the paper it he kept saying Spiderman. So, I run to grab the camera and he comes to attach me and then went to for Greg. To say the least he was a little upset that we interupted him.

We let him finish tearing off the paper but didn’t let him open it to see. Gotta wait til the big day!
